Accounting Assistant/Senior Accountant Opportunity

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is representing a well-established, multi-sited firm of chartered accountants seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant/Senior Accountant to join their successful team in Maidstone.

You will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, corporate tax returns, personal tax returns, VAT returns, and general bookkeeping duties. A comprehensive study package and on-the-job training and support will be provided.

The client has a long-standing and diverse client base of Ltd companies, sole traders, and LLPs across Kent and Sussex. You will be given a high degree of autonomy and a fantastic working environment to progress in your career and studies, if required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Statutory Accounts Preparation

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience working within a practice environment
  • Experience with Iris, Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks would be advantageous
  • Studying AAT or AAT qualified, or studying the ACA/ACCA
