About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health & Environment Manager to join our team at The Compleat Food Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, as well as the environmental sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety, health, and environmental improvement plans
  • Monitor and report on site performance against key safety, health, and environmental metrics
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards and improving safety and environmental performance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and regulations
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on safety, health, and environmental procedures and protocols
  • Manage and coordinate site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement opportunities for improving safety, health, and environmental performance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety, health, and environmental role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Relevant professional qualifications, such as NEBOSH level 6 Diploma
  • Proven track record of success in improving safety, health, and environmental performance
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems, including ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement
