Job Summary

BNY is seeking a highly skilled Derivatives Client Processing Specialist to join our Derivatives Services Delivery (DSD) group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing transactional and custody support functions for derivative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Processes account related transactions per scheduled events/client authenticated direction.
• Answers inquiries and resolves problems or issues as required from internal teams and parties external to BNYM.
• Assesses needs and suggests/promotes alternative approaches to service models.
• Participates in testing to ensure that products continue to accurately and efficiently process high value transactions.
• Break investigation based on an understanding and knowledge of processing the intricacies of the system.
• Supporting the custody needs of our clients and their appointed Investment Managers for cash and securities movement and settlement.
• Collating and distributing metrics and MIS.
• Would be responsible for checking work of support team members.
• Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Requirements

• An interest in a career in financial services
• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. University degree in a relevant subject will be an advantage
• Proactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Experience in Derivatives reconciliations, trade processing, settlements and cash processing are all skills transferrable to this role.
• Excel skills will be an advantage

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Derivatives Client Processing Specialist to join our Derivatives Services Delivery (DSD) group. This role is located in Manchester, UK and will be working in a hybrid capacity. (3 days a week in the office).
