Maths Learning Support Assistant Vacancy

About the Role:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of Maths lessons under the guidance of teachers.
  • Provide targeted support to small groups and individual students to enhance their Maths skills.
  • Track and monitor student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure they are on track to meet their goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the wider learning support team to deliver a cohesive support plan for each pupil.
  • Participate in regular professional development sessions to enhance your skills and take advantage of progression opportunities within the school.

  • Salary: £400 - £500 per week, depending on experience and qualifications

Essential Criteria:

  • A relevant degree or qualification, ideally within Maths or a related subject.
  • Proven ability to track and improve student performance.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or experience with transferable skills such as tutoring, mentoring, or coaching.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (valid visa required).
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their potential.
