Senior Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on large-scale projects across the rail and electrification/power sectors in the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior geotechnical professional to contribute to the growth and deliverables of these projects.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and reviewing desk studies, risk assessments, foundation assessments, piling/earthworks specifications, and designs for slopes, foundations, and walls.
  • Using geotechnical software and Finite Element analysis for civil engineering project design.
  • Applying knowledge of Eurocodes, CDM regulations, and health & safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or Engineering Geology.
  • Progress toward chartered status with ICE, GeolSoc, or IMMM.
