Wilton, Wiltshire, United Kingdom Barchester Healthcare Full time
About the Role

As a key member of our care team at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality person-centred care and support to our residents. Your primary focus will be on working alongside our Deputy General Manager and supervising a dedicated team of Care Assistants.

Responsibilities may also include supporting our clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and reviews. You will consistently maintain the dignity and preferences of our residents while contributing to creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.

We are seeking an experienced candidate with an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care. A strong knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential, as well as warm-hearted, compassionate qualities with a commitment to providing individualised care and support.

Ongoing training opportunities will enable you to develop your career, with many Senior Carer Assistants progressing into roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing positions.

We offer a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, free learning and development opportunities, and the chance to work for a leading healthcare provider that prioritises employee growth.

This position involves covering annual leave, sick leave, and other absences, with varied hours and days worked. If you possess motivational and people skills, this is a rewarding opportunity to join our organisation committed to delivering quality care for loved ones.
