Job Title: Assistant Director of Beverage

At Compass Group UK, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Beverage to join our team. As a key member of our food and beverage management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our beverage services, including supervising, training, and motivating our team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Supervise and train a talented team of beverage professionals to deliver exceptional service and high-quality beverages
  • Maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and service
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control costs to contribute to the financial success of the business
  • Assist in developing and implementing new beverage menus and promotions
  • Uphold health and safety standards to ensure a safe dining environment

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food and beverage supervision or a related role
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry trends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
