Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced solicitor to provide high-quality legal advice to colleagues across the National Farmers' Union. The role involves providing guidance on a broad range of legal areas, including non-contentious work, high-profile litigation, and legislative drafting.

As a Solicitor Advisor, you will have a strong academic record and be a qualified solicitor or barrister in England and Wales. You will have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex legal matters to a non-legal audience.

The role is part of the NFU's Legal Affairs Team, which is a busy and high-performing in-house legal team. You will work closely with internal clients, including senior officeholders and Boards, to provide legal support and guidance.

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the confidence to take on new areas of law, and a passion for making a difference. Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice to colleagues across the NFU
• Support the development of the NFU's policy work
• Collaborate with the Legal Affairs Team to provide legal guidance and support
• Contribute to the development of new law through legislative drafting
