We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Registered Manager in leading the team and deputising for them in their absence.
- Lead your team to provide high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, and dignity.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we support.
- Develop and implement professionally designed support plans that improve the quality of everyday life.
- Act as a role model and mentor to the team, facilitating collaborative working and sound judgment.
- Manage staff performance, training, and appraisals to ensure the team is equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional support.
- Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and/or visual impairment.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
- Valid driving license (desirable).
