Enterprise Services Manager, Professional Services

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

As a Consulting Sales Leader / Enterprise Service Manager (ESM), you will manage the working relationship with key customers, and develop / execute a long-term Professional Services strategy within the accounts. You will be a trusted advisor for our customers, and you will be responsible for all aspects of business development, relationship development, delivery oversight and program management.

  1. Develop a long-term cloud strategy for global customers.
  2. Engage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolio.
  3. Identify and develop specific opportunities; and support business cases.
  4. Deal shaping, including estimations, deal pricing, contract negotiations and closing.
  5. Plan and implement a portfolio of projects, including budget and deliverable responsibilities; and mitigate delivery risks and issues.
  6. Oversee the delivery of projects in account, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  7. Act as a single point of contact for Customer executives, developing trusted relationships.
  8. Educate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value proposition.

Minimum Requirements

  1. 15+ years of IT consulting/management experience, with demonstrated IT & Business Transformation experience in customer-facing roles.
  2. Experience working with large multi-national organizations as the Consulting Services lead for clients, delivering Business Transformation projects, and own a bookings/revenue target.
  3. Experience in account engagement and management, including identifying, developing, and executing complex transactions.
  4. A proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects to meet new Business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in developing end-to-end solutions for the Financial Services Industry.
  2. SAFe, Agile, and/or DevOps accreditation/experience a plus.
  3. Experience with large-scale enterprise system integration, including SAP, Core Banking and others.
  4. Experience with designing, building, and operating global IT organizations and infrastructures.
