About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our team as a Project Skills Business Tutor. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic coordination for designated modules, ensuring seamless delivery and student support.
  • Participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff to contribute to the effective overall management of programmes and student life cycle.
  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and development of modules offered by the centre, ensuring they meet the highest standards of academic excellence.
  • Deliver and assess provision, preparing and marking examinations and providing feedback to students.
  • Update and maintain the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), ensuring it remains a valuable resource for students and staff.
  • Work closely with the centre's Student Experience Team and Registry and Operations Team to deliver induction, orientation, and registration programmes.
  • Liaise with the Progression, Welfare, and Support team to support students in achieving their progression aims.
  • Engage in scholarly activity to ensure the delivery of modules remains current and relevant.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures at module level and contribute to the annual monitoring and review of programmes to achieve high standards.
About You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced academic with a passion for teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area.
  • A Master's qualification is desirable.
  • Experience of teaching in UK higher or further education and preferably a teaching qualification and experience of working with international students.
