We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at MATTHEW OLIVERS LTD. As a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and submitting payroll, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns
  • Support and maintain relationships with a diverse client portfolio
  • Prepare and submit payroll, including processing starters and leavers
  • Perform ad hoc project work as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice or similar industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Studying AAT, ACCA, ACA, or qualified by experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £28,000 to £34,000, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
