Job Title: Occupational Therapist (Specialist, Band 6)

Location: St Lukes Hospice

Salary: £21,156-£25,557 p/a (£35,260-£42,595 FTE 0.6 per annum) depending on experience

Job Type: Permanent, Part time (22 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our specialist team at St Lukes Hospice. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering our Strategy Every Death Matters with a focus on early intervention and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans for patients
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Experience in a similar role or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
