Job PurposeThe Enterprise Security Risk Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the security risk posture of Liberty Global. This includes gathering and analyzing inputs from various sources, assessing the security risk position, and producing reports and assessments as required.
Key Accountabilities- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Liberty Global's enterprise security risk position.
- Collect and collate reporting from across the organization, and interpret the data to draw a clear picture of the security risk posture.
- Deliver the Enterprise Security Risk Framework and take ownership of relevant security documentation and tools.
- Provide clear reports to all levels of the business on the current security risk position.
- Understand and explain how individual business unit risks contribute to the wider ramifications for the group.
- Monitor changes to control posture, security metrics, and improvement activity to ensure the impact of any change is reflected in the overarching enterprise risk posture.
- Grow and develop the approach, including a transition to quantitative risk management, and express specific strategic risk items from an impact, likelihood, treatment plan, and action perspective.
- Hold business owners accountable for delivery of major remediation items.
- Develop and manage trend analysis and support production of metrics, reports, and key performance indicators.
- Manage workload and escalate where further support is required, and identify issues beyond the scope of security governance.
- Continuously improve the approach.
- Support relevant certifications with presentations or audits.
- Ensure parity and synchronization with other risk streams across the business.
- Report to security management on the risk position.
- Report to senior leadership and audit committee.
- Work with LG security teams for SME direction and support, and interface with all operating companies in a collaborative manner to gather and detail their strategic risk position.
- Engage with internal and external partners and bodies for support, assessment, and industry input, and collaborate with wider O&A assurance team support where required.
- Effective verbal communication to ensure engagement with personnel from across the organization, leadership, and operating companies.
- Ability to adapt communication and management style to suit and manage and prioritize workload.
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality, effective, and clear briefing decks.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Customer and stakeholder-focused with attention to detail and the ability to meet multiple competing deadlines.
- Experience of a large, complex, global matrix organization.
- Knowledge or experience of the telecommunications industry.
- Knowledge and experience of working internationally.
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
