Key Responsibilities
  • Assure product quality and continually improve total quality.
  • Develop cost-effective processes to promote total quality.
  • Maintain relevant ISO and AS EN 9100 certifications or equivalent.
  • Provide management team support, advice, and assistance.
  • Identify quality costs and work to reduce them.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers concerning drawing queries, concessions, or other problems.
  • Provide timely inspection and quality support services to operations.
  • Supervise inspection methods, perform inspections, and specify specialized equipment or tooling when necessary.
  • Provide QA training, including training of operators in inspection techniques and equipment.
  • Manage the measurement and test equipment calibration system.
  • Manage NCR databases and provide quality assurance for continuous improvement.
  • Manage external and internal audits.
