Job Title: Highways Electrical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Highways Electrical Technician to join our team at Detail 2 Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of street lighting, traffic signals, and other electrical equipment on highways and public roads.

About the Role

As a Highways Electrical Technician, you will work safely and efficiently, following health and safety regulations and company policies. You will liaise with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure good communication and customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for completing paperwork and records accurately and timely.

Requirements
  • A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent (NVQ Level 3 or above)
  • A valid ECS card and CSCS card
  • A HERS Portfolio
  • SMSTS Qualification
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Experience in highways electrical work or similar
  • Good knowledge of electrical standards and regulations
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
