Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV driver to join our team at The Best Connection Worthing. As a van driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods from our warehouse in the morning, before embarking on a series of deliveries throughout the day.

The role will involve a mix of warehouse and driving duties, with approximately 60% of your time spent in the warehouse and 40% on the road. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Load and unload goods from the warehouse
* Make deliveries to customers throughout the day
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
* Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods

Requirements:

* Clean driving license
* At least one year's professional driving experience
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and organizational skills

Benefits:

* Competitive hourly rate of £11.50 per hour (increasing to £12.50 per hour after probation)
* 28 days' paid annual leave pro-rata (inclusive of statutory holiday)
* Ongoing assignment with potential for permanent position
