Job Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Warrington, Cheshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role
  • This role is full-time, working 39 hours per week over 4 days with weekends on a 1:3 rotation.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners by:

  • Performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
  • Conducting surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Providing guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • A compassionate and caring approach to animals.
