Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Care Team Manager to join our team based in The Paddocks Extra Care Scheme in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.
This role will involve providing specialized support to individuals, participating in the on-call rota, and covering care and housing-related support duties when required.
The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a Team Leader, hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (working towards Level 3), and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A willingness to learn and adapt to clients' needs is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized support to individuals within the extra care complex.
- Participate in the on-call rota and cover care and housing-related support duties when required.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet individual needs.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (working towards Level 3).
- Previous experience as a Team Leader (advantageous but not essential).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to clients' needs.
- Enhanced DBS check (mandatory).
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
