Anaesthetics Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetics Specialist to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Consultant in Anaesthesia, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical service to patients, including emergency theatres and obstetrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a clinical service in anaesthetic subspecialties, including emergency theatres and obstetrics.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Organise and prioritise workload effectively, ensuring efficient and smooth running of specialist services.
• Manage and lead the specialty firm and multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements

• Full GMC Registration with a Licence to practise.
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Anaesthesia (or expected within 6 months of interview date).
• Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and demonstrate a commitment to Continuing Medical Education.
