Opportunity to Lead a Contention Probate Team

A top-ranked law firm, recognised for its expertise in high-profile cases, is seeking an experienced Senior Contentious Probate Practitioner to lead a well-established team of solicitors. The successful candidate will have the chance to shape and drive the contentious probate team forward, with the support of a highly regarded litigation department.

The ideal candidate will be able to choose their primary base office from one of the firm's three locations: Cradley Heath, Sutton Coldfield, or Wolverhampton, with flexible working arrangements available for the right individual.

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities and effectively managing an existing caseload.
  • Collaborate with the wider litigation team on complex and high-profile cases, leveraging the firm's extensive expertise and resources.

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and ambitious senior practitioner to take on a leadership role within our litigation team. As a Senior Contentious Probate Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on contentious probate matters.
  • Leveraging your experience and knowledge to develop and implement effective strategies for resolving complex disputes.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration throughout the dispute resolution process.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Significant experience in contentious probate, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing complex casework.
  • An in-depth understanding of the laws and regulations governing contentious probate, as well as the ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
