Financial Reconciliation Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the monthly/year end process
  • Maintain and update accounting records via accounting software SAP
  • Prepare and maintain ad hoc financial reports
  • Liaise with banks and be responsible for initiating bank payments
  • Liaise with Creditors and process reconciliations including bank and creditors accounts

This role will have more focus towards reconciliation:

  • Execution of all daily reconciliation and control processes, such that any abnormal transactions are identified, investigated and corrected
  • Execution of daily safeguarding tasks (client money segregation and reconciliation)
  • Resolving daily issues impacting our customers or ability to demonstrate control of funds

Requirements

  • Holder of AAT, degree in accounting, part qualified or newly qualified accountant
  • Previous years’ experience in a similar position. Fresh graduate application will also be considered
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure and manage own workload
  • Attention to details
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and SAP
