Job Title: Community Staff Nurse

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality health visiting services to a defined corporate caseload within Derby City. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the Healthy Child Programme, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to promote health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based public health nursing services to support and enable families and children to make informed choices about their health care.
  • Lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, identifying packages of care based on the Universal, Universal plus, and Universal Partnership plus models of service delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and partners to ensure a seamless delivery of services.
  • Supervise and mentor other members of the Public Health Team, ensuring high-quality care and support for families.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse or soon-to-qualify.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of 0- services and experience of Safeguarding.
