Renewable Energy Engineer

About the Job:
This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled Renewable Energy Engineer to join the RWE AG team at the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the wind farm's turbines and associated generation network.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Servicing: Perform routine and corrective maintenance tasks on wind turbines and associated generation network.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SCADA systems to monitor turbine performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Project Work: Participate in various projects, such as upgrades, retrofits, and major component exchanges.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise: A significant background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering, ideally with a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Physical Fitness: The capacity to work in complex conditions, including offshore environments and at height.
- Flexibility: A willingness to work a shift pattern and infrequently work offshore overnight when specialist projects arise.
- Location: You must live a reasonable distance to site or be willing to relocate.
Annual Salary: £60,000 - £80,000, commensurate with experience.
