About the Role
">We are seeking a skilled Master Technician - Vehicle Diagnostics Specialist to join our team at Marshall Motor Group in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults in vehicles using manufacturer-specific software and equipment.">
- Perform repair and maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to brand parameters.">
- Complete job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms, accurately documenting repairs and maintenance activities.">
- Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) to identify potential issues and provide recommendations for improvement.">
- Support apprentice technicians in their development, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills and confidence.">
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols and procedures.">
Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- ">
- A level 3 or equivalent industry-recognized qualification in vehicle technology, such as IMI or City & Guilds.">
- Previous experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic, with a strong understanding of technical processes and procedures.">
- Excellent diagnostic skills, with the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.">
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide clear guidance to apprentices.">
- Ability to carry out MOTs, with full training provided for those without prior experience.">
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with iPad software.">

- An estimated £44,699 basic salary, plus uncapped OTE based on individual time saved, team profit, and CSI bonus.">
- 45 hours per week, with weekends on a rota basis.">
