About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Olive Recruitment. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and comfort in our client's care homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain residents' rooms and communal areas spotlessly clean and tidy
  • Perform laundry duties to provide greater flexibility
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to meet Health and Safety Regulations

This is a permanent contract with working days only, featuring shifts from 7am to 3pm and 10am to 6pm. Our client's approach emphasizes the care of the elderly, taking the view that psychological, physical, and environmental stimulation promotes a longer, healthier, and happier life.

Requirements
  • COSHH training and Current Accredited Infection Control Certificate or willingness to be trained
  • Additional infection control experience post Covid-19
  • Understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety in the workplace, or a willingness to be trained
  • GCSE qualifications or NVQ Level 1
  • Cleaning experience in a similar environment with a commitment to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people
