Education Support Specialist

### Requirements
* Previous child-based experience
* Possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service
* Genuine passion for working with young people
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
### Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities, both in and out of the classroom
* Assist the class teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
* Help students overcome barriers to learning and promote inclusion within the classroom
* Support students with their academic progress, including homework, assignments, and exam preparation
* Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and personal development
* Collaborate with other professionals, such as educational psychologists and speech therapists, to ensure the best support for students
* Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and parents/guardians as required

### Salary
The salary for this role is approximately £22,500-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
