About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Field Engineer to join our team at CityFibre Limited. As a key member of our fibre network team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of our fibre network.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist with 'on the day' issues that would otherwise prevent successful completion of first-time installations
  2. Complete complex or non-standard installations from site survey through to successful conclusion for both residential and business customers
  3. Resolve service incidents / escalations to a successful outcome in a professional and timely manner
  4. Participate in an on-call rota to provide industry leading emergency response for network or customer issues
Requirements

We are looking for Engineers who have extensive experience and knowledge of fibre and a commitment to continuous improvement. In addition to having a valid UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points, you must have the following qualifications:

  1. NRSWA O1
  2. Openreach PIA S007 Sub-Duct and Cable Installation
  3. SA001 Overhead Safety and SA002 Underground Safety or SA006 Safe Working in Civils

The following qualifications are desirable:

  1. NRSWA LA
  2. SA020 MDU Installations and SA022 Track and Locate underground Services
  3. Health and Safety; EFAC, EUSR, Abrasive, IPAF and TETRA

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 - £36,000 depending on experience, 25 days' holiday, a day off on your birthday, a day off to support a charity or organisation of your choice, a performance-related bonus scheme, and private healthcare. You will also receive two weeks' induction training in Milton Keynes, where you will receive all the training you need to be successful. All training costs and hotel accommodation are covered by CityFibre.
