Job Purpose:We are seeking a skilled Product Test Analyst to join our team at Vermelo RPO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling and testing product rate updates, fixes, and new developments across various product lines and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the business to organize updates into sprints using our Service Now ticketing portal.
- Update, run, and maintain excel-based testpacks.
- Report issues in an appropriate manner to be fixed.
- Analyze product updates for testing purposes.
- Write and run new assertion-based testing within ReadyAPI.
- Run unit-based testing against Landscape or software house systems.
- Create and/or refine testing processes.
- Work closely with underwriting, product writing, and scheduling to maintain and improve the speed of delivery.
- Add testing timescales to rates updates and developments.
- Return testing queries to underwriting and product writing.
- Keep track of testing volume and time spent on individual tickets.
- Excellent excel formula knowledge.
- Proven record of accomplishment in teamwork.
- Experience working under pressure with tight timescales.
- Desirable: ReadyAPI, Java, or other coding experience.
- Desirable: Experience with software house front-end systems.
- Desirable: General motor and home insurance knowledge.
