We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our team at Lifelancer, a leading talent hiring platform in Life Sciences, Pharma, and IT. The successful candidate will be part of a British Heart Foundation funded project, focusing on a multidisciplinary approach to provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms of Long QT syndrome (LQTS).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on the molecular mechanisms of LQTS using a multidisciplinary approach.
  • Collaborate with the team of Dr. Nordine Helassa to develop new therapeutic strategies for LQTS.
  • Design and execute experiments using proteins, confocal microscopy, or patch-clamp electrophysiology.
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • PhD degree in Biochemistry, Physiology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with proteins, confocal microscopy, or patch-clamp electrophysiology.
  • Strong research background and publication record.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
