About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy, fun, and inclusive sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years.

You will work closely with our Camp Manager and a team of like-minded individuals to create a safe and supportive environment for our campers. Your primary focus will be on delivering engaging and interactive sports sessions that promote physical activity, teamwork, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality sports sessions to children aged 5-17 years
  • Work closely with the Camp Manager and team to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Supervise children during lunch breaks and participate in swimming sessions
  • Oversee the safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents
  • Build relationships with parents/guardians and interact with them in a professional manner

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months' experience working with children from 5-17 years
  • At least 3 months' experience coaching a sport or active games
  • Vibrant, resilient, and team player
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Level 2 or higher qualification in Primary or Secondary Teaching, Sports Coaching, or Physical Education
  • Paediatric First Aid (training opportunities are available)
