We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Testing Specialist to join our team at Atrium Recruitment Ltd. As a Materials Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of tests on materials used in construction, such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out material testing on various construction materials.
- Use specialist equipment to assess properties like strength, density, and texture.
- Record test results and prepare detailed reports for internal and external use.
- Work closely with different teams to ensure materials meet required specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing techniques and safety standards.
- A degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or Construction or being able to demonstrate experience working in these sectors is preferred.
- Alternatively, our client will also look at you favourably if you have a solid foundation in scientific principles, through education or work experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in materials testing would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret and report on data.

UK Driving License (Manual) required for Site Technician role.
