Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced NDT Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of NDT inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements, as well as client requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to work with one of our large clients in the Newcastle region who develop & manufacture subsea equipment. You will be based at their site in Newcastle and will infrequently visit our client's testing lab in the surrounding area.

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in Non-Destructive Testing and hold PCN Quals, specifically PCN Level 2 Radiography, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Dye Penetrant Inspection, Visual Inspection or Eddy Current. Experience with IT systems is also necessary for report writing. Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces is a must.

Estimated Salary: £48,500 per annum (based on 40-hour week)

-Carry out a range of NDT inspections to ensure compliance with statutory and legislative requirements, as well as client requirements.
-Interpret and evaluate test results.
-Conduct equipment inspections and calibrations.
-Collect, collate and report on examination results.

Requirements
-Previous experience in Non-Destructive Testing.
