Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and flexible Class 1 HGV drivers to join our team at SolviT Recruitment Ltd. As a Class 1 driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times, completing daily checks, and reporting any vehicle defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
  • Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law.
  • Double check deliveries with the customer and obtain relevant signatures and paperwork.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 licence
  • Current DQC card and Digital Taco card
  • At least 12 months experience on UK roads
  • No more than 6 points (no IN DR or DD codes)
  • Physically fit
  • Great customer service

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate between £15-£18
  • Flexibility with ad hoc shifts or full weeks
