Pharmacy Career Development Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in North Liverpool. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centred care and delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary.
SalaryThe hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London, however, we can estimate that the annual salary would be around £25,000 - £28,000 based on 20 hours per week.
Job DescriptionAs a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will work across the healthcare counter and the dispensary to provide fantastic patient care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
- Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary while ensuring the safe supply of medicines, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
- Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
- Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
- Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have either an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services or be working towards and have completed the first year of an Mpharm course at university. You will also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent to work in our dispensaries. We offer support for development to complete our training within 6 months of joining us.
