Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid to Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platforms engineering team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new features on Aforza Studio, a digital asset management and photo automation solution
  • Design and implement APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
  • Build and maintain our React-based web UI
  • Write unit tests using Jest and perform code reviews
  • Participate in SCRUM activities, including sprint planning, reviews, retros, and backlog estimation
Requirements
  • Strong experience in frontend development using React and TypeScript
  • Backend API development experience in Node.js and TypeScript
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and Google Cloud Firestore
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Good understanding of unit testing frameworks and code refactoring
