Job Description

Role: Classroom Assistant

Location: Lewisham

Salary: £95 - £105 per day (Full-Time, 8:30am - 3:30pm)

The school is seeking a dedicated and patient individual to support learning across the curriculum in a mainstream primary school based in Lewisham. As a classroom assistant, you will work closely with specialist teachers to stimulate a dynamic and effective learning environment that enables learners to flourish.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with ASD, behavioural issues, and learning difficulties
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Engaging and developing the learning of children
  • Mentoring and coaching students as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience with children is desirable
  • Relevant experience in mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or childcare
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
