Senior Nursery Practitioner

Are you a dedicated and passionate childcare professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.
Job Summary: As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the nursery, supporting the children and using your initiative to help them succeed. You will work collaboratively with the term-time Room Supervisor in the 0-3 year-old room, with plenty of opportunity for further responsibility to support your career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the children in their daily activities and ensure their positive management of behaviour
- Use your initiative to help the children succeed and reach their full potential
- Work collaboratively with the term-time Room Supervisor to ensure the smooth running of the nursery
- Contribute to the development of the nursery's policies and procedures
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Child Care Qualification
- Recent experience working within a nursery, primary, or pre-prep environment
- Clean enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to undergo one)
- Fun personality that engages well with children
- Good understanding of children's development and needs
- Thorough understanding of EYFS
