Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Yard Sales Operative / Relief Driver to join our team at GCS Associates. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to trade and retail customers
  • Operate a Class 2 licensed vehicle and transport goods safely and efficiently
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and provide expert advice to customers
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Class 2 driving license with HIAB certification (training provided if required)
  • Experience working in a builders merchants environment (not essential)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
