Job Title: Neonatal Safeguarding Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Safeguarding Nurse Specialist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our neonatal staff on safeguarding and protection practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safeguarding policies and procedures for neonatal services
  • Provide training and education to neonatal staff on safeguarding and protection practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for vulnerable mothers and their families
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with safeguarding standards

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies or equivalent qualification
  • Qualified in Neonatal Speciality (QIS)
  • Experience in neonatal intensive care and safeguarding practices
