About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Riverside. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently and maintain their dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Support customers with their medication and healthcare needs
  • Encourage customers to participate in social activities and engage with their community
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to identify and meet the needs of customers
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a care environment, preferably in a residential setting
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Basic administrative skills and IT proficiency
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality
