Beach Safety Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Beach Safety Specialist to join our team at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa in Axbridge, Somerset.

This is a seasonal position requiring full-time hours, with variable days and weekend work, including bank holidays.

The role will run from 20th December 2024 to 5th January 2025, with typical shift times of 9:00am - 17:00pm or 10:00am - 18:00pm.

Flexibility is essential to meet business needs, and NPLQ training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Ensure pool and leisure areas operate safely and efficiently within the Leisure team.
• Conduct regular checks of the pool and changing areas, identifying hazards and addressing them promptly.
• Maintain vigilant observation of swimmers and spectators, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Regularly check plant and conduct pool water tests, maintaining accurate records.
• Verify guest passes and provide information on current activity programmes.
• Administer first aid as required, accurately recording any accidents that occur.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, although not essential.
• A current NPLQ qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
• A UK driving license and ability to drive would be advantageous, facilitating easy travel to and from the resort.
