Electronics Sales and Support Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales/Support Manager to join our team in Southern England. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining customer relationships, and providing expert technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the UK.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including engineers, technical managers, and decision-makers.
  • Work closely with customers to understand and offer advice on all aspects of their application/process and be able to convert this information into solvable solutions and/or equipment sales.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to offer pre-sales and post-sales support, including product demonstrations, installations, training, and ongoing troubleshooting.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, performance metrics, and market developments to senior management.

Requirements:

  • A recognised engineering qualification and experience in electronics/instrumentation or mechanical engineering.
  • Knowledge of SMT, PTH (and micro-electronics) assembly processes would be an advantage.
  • A full clean driving licence and ability to travel across the Southern England territory.
  • Experience working in electronics/instrumentation or mechanical engineering.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing market share.
