We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join our team at MLK Education Search. As a Special Education Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with SEMH and associated needs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of SEMH provision, ensuring a person-centred approach to meet the needs of students.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents and carers.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to SEMH and SEND.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEMH provision, making recommendations for improvement.
- Qualified and/or experienced SENCO or SEN/Inclusion leader within a similar environment.
- Qualified teacher with QTS in the UK.
- Knowledgeable of the SEND Code of Practice.
