Clinical Lead Job Description

The Clinical Lead will work closely with nurses and carers to maintain the highest standards of clinical care and governance in the Nursing home. This role requires a strong clinical skillset and confidence to lead the nursing team, as well as prior management experience or experience of leading a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure residents receive the best care, meet their needs through excellent nursing and clinical care, and actively contribute to all clinical delivery.
  • Make clinical decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • Promote best nursing practice and train, support, and mentor others.
  • Encourage positive working relationships within the team.
  • Have a good working knowledge of audits, safeguarding, DOLS, CQC, and compliance.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
