Job Description:

This is a newly created role that involves owning the financial reporting and tax functions for multiple entities, up to trial balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a small team and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of end-to-end financial reporting and tax, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts, working closely with external auditors.
  • Management and development of a small team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Involvement in ongoing ERP systems projects, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
Requirements:
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or equivalent, with strong fundamental accounting knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Experience in an audit environment, with a desire to transition into industry.
