About the Role

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a skilled Imaging Support Specialist to join our Radiology department. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the unit/work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment for diagnostic imaging.
  • Support the upkeep and maintenance of stock levels in the department, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the recovery team to prepare the area for patient care.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe departmental environment, minimizing the risk of infection.
  • Provide administrative support to the team.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic knowledge of radiology equipment and procedures.
