About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague at Yate Brimsham Park Express. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets, maintain store standards, and support colleagues as needed.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe store environment, adhering to health and safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events, promoting a positive and inclusive store atmosphere.
- Develop knowledge of store performance, understanding your role in driving sales, reducing waste, and delivering profit.
Requirements
- A passion for delivering great customer service, with a focus on building rapport and resolving customer queries.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating openly and collaboratively with colleagues.
- A willingness to take the initiative, making decisions that are right for customers and the store.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
