About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our Legal Department at Kroll Bond Rating Agency UK Limited. As an Assistant General Counsel, you will play a key role in supporting our regulatory compliance efforts and ensuring that our business operations are in line with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments and updates across multiple jurisdictions, providing expert advice to internal stakeholders on their implications for our business.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Department on discrete and ongoing matters before our regulators, including examinations, submissions to regulators, special projects, and various requests.
  • Gain familiarity with data privacy laws of jurisdictions in which we operate and collaborate with the Information Security team on best practices in all jurisdictions.
  • Support the review of engagement letters across all sectors in which we issue ratings, including structured finance, project finance, and financial institutions.
Requirements
  • Strong background in regulatory affairs and experience working in highly regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of securities laws and regulations.
  • Excellent research, analysis, and organizational skills, with a particular focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to work closely with other members of the Legal Department and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
