Digital Navigator

Caledon Community Services is seeking a highly skilled Digital Navigator to join our team. As a Digital Navigator, you will play a critical role in supporting newcomers to Canada in accessing online language training and settlement services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and lead orientation sessions for new clients
• Provide support to clients in accessing online course delivery
• Plan and deliver online digital training for clients and staff
• Support instructors in integrating digital literacy skills into the classroom
• Develop and maintain lists of recommended digital educational tools
• Curate instructors' online pages and ensure quality control of online resources
• Stay current with new trends and research in online language delivery and technology supports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• OCELT designation (or working towards)
• Experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations
• Experience delivering technology training and support
• 2 years' experience in a similar position teaching adults
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment
• Experience in online teaching/distance education
